Symphony City is a website designed by educators to help middle school teachers meet state and national content standards that might be difficult to cover in a traditional classroom setting. Personal interviews with professional musicians, composers and a conductor help to "demystify" the members of the symphony. Fun learning activities teach important aspects of symphonic music that will make your students want to learn more about the instruments and the people who play them.

The website also features a teacher's section that includes a scope and sequence, as well as lesson plans.
