Mission Statement
The Wheeling Symphony Society, Inc. serves the residents of our communities by providing excellent orchestral programs which entertain, educate and enhance the quality of life.

André Raphel Smith, Conductor
Capitol Theatre, Wheeling, WV

This special evening showcases members of your Wheeling Symphony Orchestra as part of the
 80th Anniversary Season.

The program highlights music making of a more "intimate" nature between the artists and audience reminiscent of a performance setting in parlors with candle light.

Sibelius: Valse Triste (performed during the Orchestra's inaugural 1929-1930 Season)
Handel:
Concerto for Harp

Bach:
Concerto for Violin and Oboe
Mozart: Symphony No. 41, (the Jupiter)
